Next Matrix postponed

TIMES TWO ... Keanu Reeves is currently shooting two sequels to his hit, The Matrix
The first of two in-production sequels to The Matrix won't see the light of day until the summer of 2003, according to SciFi.com. The site spoke to producer Joel Silver at the premiere of the new comedy Osmosis Jones and he confirmed that reports of The Matrix Reloaded making it to screens by Christmas 2002 have been overly optimistic.
"It's just it's an enormous project," Silver explained of the delay.
"It's a staggering project. There's so much dealing with it.
"It's unbelievable, and they just need time to finish both movies, because we're shooting them as one big movie.
"It's not back-to-back. It's one movie, so they'll finish shooting it, and then they'll take the time to finish the movies."

HOLLYWOOD — The cast of the wacky farce Rat Race have their share of madcap memories.
“When Vince and I met, we decided to do our own stunts. We figured if Keanu Reeves could do his stunts in The Matrix, we could do ours in Rat Race,” recalls Green, who’s best known for his four seasons on Buffy the Vampire Slayer TV series and as Dr. Evil’s son in the Austin Powers movies.
